WSAIGO Equals "Global Goals""

WSA-IGO was created following the adoption of the Rabat Declaration(2) in Morocco, in May 2007 by the Kingdom of Morocco, the Republic of Niger, and the Dominican Republic, and its subsequent presentation and registration with the Economic and Social Council UN-ECOSOC (E/2007/NGO/1)(3) in July 2007. By the end of 2008, WSA had grown to include 22 Member states and with the accession acceptance of three additional nations in January 2009, now comprises 33 countries with a combined population base of 574 million. WSA gathers as members those countries who share its vision and objectives and who wish to collaborate with one another to achieve the Alliance's goals. Pursuant to the Accession process, the Sports and Youth Ministers of each Member state become the lead representative of their respective governments within WSA.

Sports has the power to change the world.

WSA IGO Projects

Global Coaching Initiative - Sports programs can bring out noticeable positive reactions and behaviors in teens. But what are the deeper benefits from these programs? What are we losing when nations are forced to cut these programs? The most extensive research has come in a report called "Relationships Between Youth Sport Participation and Selected Health Risk Behaviors from 1999 to 2007" published in the Journal of School Health. This report analyzes many different factors, including race, age, and gender, and behaviors, including eating habits, sexual activity, and drug risks.

Solary Equity Group - The World Sports Alliance USA (WSAUSA) is an NGO in connection with the United Nations and exists as a sports diplomacy and amateur / youth sports organization, in furtherance of the UNSDGS and was formed in 2017 in partnership with the World Sports Alliance Intergovernmental Organization (WSAIGO). Collectively, our mission is to spread the use of solar energy worldwide in support of the UNSDGS while supporting global youth sports programs with every transaction.
