When we think about nutrition as a source of performance, it does not only include sports. Performance in all areas of life in general are affected by performance. Good nutrition involves 3 elements; education of knowing what to eat, the discipline to eat the right things and access to proper nutrients. Performance nutrition includes both food as well as good, clean water. The World Sports Alliance approaches performance nutrition from a holistic approach that encompasses the 3 elements of nutrition. It has been our experience that proper nutrition is not something that one does once, but is a lifestyle choice that reaps a lifetime of benefits. A population that eats healthy also has lower health costs as they avoid many preventable diseases. A healthy population experiences an increase in quality of life that World Sports Alliance is happy to promote.

When the World Sports Alliance enters into a new member state our objective is performance through nutrition as a means to improve the lives of the youth athletes who may participate in our programs, as well as ALL of the citizens of the region. As an organization dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals, we approach nutrition from the point of view that proper nutrition benefits everyone. The next great scientist, artist or world leader could be sitting somewhere right now, hungry and in need of nutrition. It is our mission to empower human development through sports, and proper nutrition is a fundamental part of the equation.
